Next week’s episode will see Brooks Jensen officially return to WWE NXT.
Shawn Michaels announced that Jensen would return to NXT next week for a sit down with GM Ava.
Michaels’ promo addressed the storyline which has been playing out in recent weeks, primarily on social networks, where Jensen has played a loose-cannon character, drinking excessively, crashing Raw, SmackDown, and interrupting NXT TV segments.
Michaels said he believes in second opportunities and that Jensen would sit down with Ava to discuss his future next week. Michaels confirmed that Jensen was not released by WWE, as Jensen hinted on social media. However, NXT management told Jensen that he needed to take some time off after separating from Josh Briggs in storyline and Fallon Henley.
A tag-team match was also teased in the next episode. The OC’s Karl Anderson & Luke Gaallows challenged OTM’s Bronco Nima & Lucien Price to a match, during a promo backstage.
