Darby Allin is ready to return as an AEW at Dynamite 250.
Allin has not been advertised for a segment at tonight’s show in Little Rock at the Simmons Bank Arena, but he told Friday Night Fights that he plans to return.
Allin said, “Tomorrow, in Little Rock, Dynamite250, it’s actually another return for me,” on the show.
“I broke my leg two months ago, then I got hit by a car and broke my nose. Then I returned to the ring.” I had one match, and was hung upside-down with a rope around my ankles. I was then kicked with shoes with superglued thumbtacks on the bottom.
Allin revealed that thumbtacks had injured the septum in his already broken nose.
“The thumbtacks were stuck in my lip, and it messed up the septum. Blood was squirting all over.” After all that, I am now medically cleared and ready to rock Little Rock. It’s going be fun. “I have a lot of crazy things planned.”
Allin’s 2024 has been an eventful one so far. He had originally planned to climb Mount Everest this year, but was forced to abandon his plans after breaking his foot in a match against Jay White. The following month, he was hit by a car and broke his nose. He still wrestled in the Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing match as a substitute for Eddie Kingston who broke his leg on May 11 at NJPW Resurgence.
