This Tuesday’s NXT will include a contract signing.
NXT champion Trick Williams will face Je’Von Evans and Ethan Page on the final episode of NXT before Heatwave next Sunday. Williams will defend his title against the four men in a four-way fatal match.
Evans was originally supposed to get the title after winning a fight royal. Page defeated Evans on the same show and established himself as a title contender despite losing to Williams in NXT Battleground.
Spears entered the title picture on Tuesday by pinning Williams, after Brooks Jensen ran through the crowd. Jensen accidentally hit Williams with the announcer desk cover as he was being apprehended by security. This gave Spears the momentum she needed to win. Ava changed the match to a four-way due to Page and Spears’ wins.
