Jay White has advanced to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
White defeated Rey Fenix Wednesday to advance to semifinals of the tourney. He won after catching Fenix using the bladerunner. He will face the winner of Jeff Jarrett versus a ‘wildcard’ entrant, which the Elite will choose at next week’s AEW dynamite beach break event.
PAC is currently the only person in the men’s competition to have advanced. He will face the winner of the match between Shingo Taagi and Bryan Danielson this Sunday at Forbidden Doors.
The women’s tournament has also seen the semifinals of the women’s tournament. Willow Nightingale will face Kris Statlander at Dynamite Beach Break next week. Deonna Purrazzo will face Hikaru Shida, and Mariah May will face Saraya in other matches.
The finals for both tournaments will take place on AEW Dynamite, on July 10. The winners of both tournaments will receive World title matches on All In on August 25, 2019.
