Kayla Braxton thanked WWE and its fans in a social media post on Friday, her last night working for the company.
Braxton wrote the following in a message sent to X:
“I love my WWE Family. Thank you guys so much. I’m overwhelmed. “I will miss you but we will meet again.”
Braxton (Kaya Becher) announced last week that the Friday SmackDown show in Madison Square Garden will be her final WWE show. She is leaving the company to pursue new ventures.
The on-air personality worked for the company for eight years, starting in NXT, as a ring announcement, before settling down as a host and backstage interviewer on the main roster.
Braxton stated in a Monday social media post that she has no plans to work with any other wrestler company.
The support you guys have shown has been overwhelming. I am so grateful for you. As I enter my last week with WWE, I want to make one thing clear: If I wanted to continue working in wrestling, then I wouldn’t have left the largest wrestling company on the planet. Nice try, rumorweeds!”
