Live gate number revealed for AEW Double or Nothing in todays Wrestling news

According to new data, the live gate number of May’s AEW double or nothing from Las Vegas has seen a sharp drop from last year.

According to Pollstar (via Wrestlenomics), the MGM Grand Garden Arena’s May 26th pay per view drew $582.204 at the gate with 9099 tickets paid. The same show at the T-Mobile Arena in the previous year brought in $964 349 on 10,478 tickets.

The same publication reported that the Saturday go home Collision at the same venue brought in $112,298 on 3944 tickets paid.

The show featured an Anarchy in the Arena Match, Mercedes Mone’s AEW in ring debut and AEW World champion Swerve Cage vs. Christian Cage.

March’s Revolution, held in Greensboro in North Carolina, was AEW’s second-highest PPV ticket gate, bringing in over $1 million on 15,837 tickets paid. April’s Dynasty, in St. Louis Missouri, brought in $401,373 on 6287 tickets.

AEW will be returning to PPV on Sunday, March 25, for their third Forbidden Door. The event will originate from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, for the first ever. WrestleTix estimates that as of Tuesday evening, nearly 9100 tickets were sold for the event. There are approximately 1100 left to be purchased.
