This week, the ROH World Championship is being defended by Honorclub.
Mark Briscoe defends his title on Thursday’s ROH TV episode against ROHT TV champion Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher earned the title shot by pinning Briscoe during a six-man match on AEW Dynamite, June 12. He has also defended his ROH TV title seven times since winning it in December.
The TV title of Fletcher will not be at stake in the match.
This will be Briscoe’s first defense of the championship since he won it from Eddie Kingston on April 5, 2024 at Supercard of Honor. Briscoe will be wrestling on ROH TV for the first time since he defeated Griff Garrison on April 13 in a Proving Ground Match.
Three matches are announced for ROH TV in the coming week.
