Mark Henry appears in MLW Battle Rivet VI after AEW departure in todays Wrestling news
Mark Henry made his debut post-AEW at MLW Battle Riot VI on Saturday in Atlanta.
Henry appeared with Teddy Long before the Ritual Combat match that Alex Kane (Top Dolla) and AJ Francis won. Henry made his first appearance since the end of May, when his contract with AEW expired.
Henry announced to Busted Open Radio he would not be resigning. He will instead focus on other projects.
"And I will not be renewing my contract." "I think it's mutual," he said. "If I cannot give 100 percent, it is only fair that both parties end the relationship in a positive way. "It's been nothing other than positive," I said.
Satoshi Kojima retained the MLW Heavyweight Title in the top matches at Battle Riot VI. Matt Riddle won the Battle Riot Battle Royal, eliminating Sami Callihan last.
