Samoa Joe will commentate Swerve’s AEW Dynamite match in todays Wrestling news
Strickland faces an opponent chosen by Hangman Page.
Swerve Strickland, the Dynamite match featuring the AEW World champion, will be accompanied by the AEW Champion on commentary this week.
AEW announced that Samoa Joe would join the commentary team during Strickland’s fight against a yet to be announced opponent on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Strickland, Hangman Page and others are participating in Dealer’s Choice match on the show. Strickland chose Toa Liona to be Page’s opponent. Page has not revealed who he has chosen to face Strickland.
Both Strickland & Page are aiming to challenge Joe for the AEW world championship.
Joe won the AEW World championship from MJF last month at Worlds End pay per view. Since then, he’s only made one title defence, retaining the title against Hook.
Dynamite will be at the UNO Lakefront Arena on Wednesday, September 12. Here’s what’s been announced about the show:
