Sonya Deville to play police officer in “DNA Secrets” film in todays Wrestling news
Deville hasn’t played since August due to a torn ACL.
Sonya Deville has been doing some acting while she is on the shelf recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Deville is currently filming the movie “DNA Secrets” in Clearwater, Florida. She spoke to 10 Tampa Bay while on set about the similarities between being an actor and a WWE performer.
Deville said:
The hustle and bustle of filmmaking, the need to be constantly ready, the camera, the memorizing of lines and the constant rushing around are all very similar. I must admit, I like the fact that you can get more than one take in filmmaking. You can’t miss a moment of Monday Night Raw, or Friday Night SmackDown.
Deville has not been in action since August, when she suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. She was one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time along with Chelsea Green.
David Yates is producing DNA Secrets. He is best known for his work with Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, as well as Dolphin Tale. Yates recently told the Tampa Bay Times that the plot of the movie revolves around an antiques shop owner who gives DNA testing kits to her family as a present. When the store owner’s family members start turning up dead, she “edges towards the truth only for her to discover that she is at the center of a mystery which has put her family in danger.”
