Stephanie Vaquer made her WWE debut in the ring.
Vaquer, one half of WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, defeated Isla dawn at WWE’s houseshow in Mexico City, on Saturday. She cut a promo after the match saying that she was living her dreams and was honored to become part of the WWE Family.
On Wednesday, Vaquer abruptly left CMLL to join WWE. CMLL stripped Vaquer of her CMLL Women’s Title and the Tag Team Titles she held with Zeuxis. Shawn Michaels welcomed Vaquer on WWE X later in the day. The company announced that she would make appearances at house shows in Mexico.
Willow Nightingale, the new CMLL Women’s champion, defeated Viva Van & Lluvia at CMLL/NJPW Fantasicamania on Saturday in San Jose. Vaquer had been scheduled to defend her title before she left.
