TNA has signed a long-term deal with PowerTown Wrestling.
TNA Wrestling signed a deal with an action figure partner.
On Monday, it was announced that TNA Wrestling & PowerTown Wrestling will be partnering to produce TNA action figure and accessories. The two companies have a long-term agreement.
Pre-orders will begin for the first series in March 2024. The figures will then be shipped in August 2024. The second series will be delivered in December 2024. TNA and PowerTown Wrestling have announced that more information about the wrestlers featured in the second series will be released over the next few weeks.
The figures are “sculpted to their real-life height, in scale with other wrestlers.” The figures have 30 articulations; the head can rotate and nod, the arms can move forward and backward, and biceps can rotate.
PowerTown Wrestling is a company that has been around for less than two years. They have produced figures of legendary wrestlers such as Bruiser Brody and Magnum TA. The company is owned and operated by Steve Rosenthal, a veteran of the toy industry, and former wrestler Greg Gagne.
The new deal follows the cancellation of Impact Wrestling’s planned action figure range with Epic Toys. In August, it became known that the Epic Toys action figures did not meet Impact standards or the timeframes for release. Impact announced that it would be entering into discussions with action figure manufacturers.
In a press statement, TNA Wrestling President Scott D’Amore stated:
