Trent Beretta has reportedly been ruled out of action.
Fightful Select reported that Beretta had been out of action ever since Double or Nothing, where he was defeated by Orange Cassidy in May. They also noted that Beretta had not been cleared to compete for “quite some time” and needed a push before his injury.
The Kingdom won Saturday’s Collision after Beretta interfered in the main event. She took out Orange Cassidy, allowing The Kingdom double team Kyle O’Reilly and winning. Cassidy appeared after the match and struck Trent with a wrench from behind.
In recent months, a storyline has seen Trent turn against the Best Friends. He first killed Cassidy after a tag-team loss. Trent smashed Taylor’s leg with a wrench after Chuck Taylor had sided with Cassidy. In recent weeks he has aligned with the Don Callis Family after Callis teased an interest in bringing Cassidy to his group only to reveal that it was a swerve.
