NXT will begin with a battle royal to determine Trick Williams next opponent.
WWE announced via social media that a 25-man battle royal would kick off the show on Tuesday. The winner will get a shot at Williams title at NXT Heatwave, on July 7.
Cody Rhodes told Williams last week about the battle royal. He said that wrestlers “from different locker rooms” will be competing in the match. Williams successfully defended his title at NXT Battleground by defeating Ethan Page.
Jordynne grace, a TNA wrestler, has appeared for NXT recently. She lost to Roxanne Perez, the former Dana Brooke, at NXT Battleground due to a distraction by Tatum Paxley, and Ash by Elegance from TNA. Paxley then unsuccessfully challenged Grace for her TNA Knockouts Title at the TNA Against All Odds Event this past weekend.
